Mission

We believe pain relief should never
carry the risk of addiction and eventual death

For too long, the only answer to serious pain has been drugs that trade one suffering for another. DIMERx was founded on a simple conviction: that the chemistry exists to do better. That patients deserve relief without fear of addiction. That physicians deserve a tool they can prescribe with confidence. And that the opioid crisis, which has taken over 800,000 American lives since 1999, demands an urgent, science-first response.

Patients First

Every decision we make starts with the patient. Effective pain relief without trading one crisis for another. No euphoria, no dependence, no stigma.

Science-Driven

Every claim we make is backed by clinical data, peer-reviewed science, and independent validation, including an $18M mandate from the National Institutes of Health.

Urgency

Over 200 Americans die from opioid overdose every day. We do not have the luxury of moving slowly. DIMERx is built to move fast, with purpose, toward a solution the world needs now.

Humanitarian Impact

Pain relief should improve quality of life, not compromise it. Our goal is to help people live healthy, productive lives (working, caring for loved ones, and staying fully present) without sedation, dependence, or the fear often associated with pain medications.

What Key Opinion Leaders Are Saying

Expert voices behind DMX-101

DMX-101 could redefine pain treatment. The absence of rewarding effects, even at exposures 18-fold above clinical levels, suggests we are looking at a genuinely differentiated therapy, one with the potential to displace traditional opioids and change the trajectory of the addiction crisis.

Eric C. Strain, MD
Scientific Advisor, DIMERx · Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

DMX-101 has the potential to be a true breakthrough addressing both chronic pain and the addiction crisis. Throughout my career in pain medicine, I’ve long understood the potential of peripheral opioid receptors, but it’s been unclear why the pharmaceutical industry has not fully leveraged this mechanism.
